The event, which is commemorated by scouts from all around the world, took place at the municipal park in Mersch on Saturday.

The 'Thinking Day' traditionally takes place on 22 February, which is the birthday of Scouting and Guiding founder Lord Robert Baden-Powell and of his wife and World Chief Scout Lady Olave Baden-Powell. The goal of the initiative is for scouts all around the world to think of their peers and the global impact they have.

On Saturday, the Association of Luxembourgish Guides and Scouts (LGS) commemorated Thinking Day at the municipal park in Mersch. Close to 500 people aged six to 23 participated in a number of workshops organised in the context of the initiative. The LGS further used the opportunity of the gathering to present their future projects and activities.
