Whether it’s going to a concert, visiting the seaside for the last time, or attending a child’s wedding - the Ambulanz-Wonsch association is committed to helping people who are bedridden with terminal illnesses fulfil their wishes, no matter how difficult.
Dutch by birth, van Hout founded the association to specifically help people receiving palliative care, organising trips with specialised equipment and vehicles through the help of specially trained volunteers. She was named Luxembourg’s Woman of the Year for 2022 to recognise her hard work and efforts with the association.
