Police were called out to an incident in Aspelt on Wednesday after a youth was spotted hitting another person with a glass bottle.
When officers arrived on the scene at around 11pm, they found two minors engaged in a fight, with one hitting the other over the head with a glass bottle. As police attempted to separate the two, the perpetrator turned aggressive towards officers, hitting one in the face and kicking another in the stomach.
Officers were eventually able to subdue the aggressor, who was found to be both underage and highly intoxicated. The young man was taken to hospital, where he continued to display aggressive behaviour, hitting and spitting at staff. He was then removed to the UNISEC youth facility in Dreiborn. A police report was drawn up.
