The U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg and the American Battle Monuments Commission will be holding their annual Veterans Day ceremony on Friday, 11 November at the Luxembourg American Military Cemetery.

Veterans Day or "Armistice Day", is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated annually on 11 November in honour of all veterans of the uniformed services who served or are still serving the military.

The day symbolizes the formal ending between the hostilities of World War I, on the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.

The event is open to the public and will take place on Friday, 11 November, 2022, at 11:00 until 11:30 at the Luxembourg American Military Cemetery, 50 Val du Scheid, Hamm.
