This new map allows users to assess the quality of the different communication networks in Luxembourg.

The Luxembourg Regulatory Institute (IRL) has made the geographical coverage maps of Luxembourg's electronic communication networks available online. The goal is to promote awareness about the availability of infrastructure for mobile and fixed communication networks. You can consult the different maps on Geoportail.lu. Even if it is not easy to find and display the maps, their content is interesting.

One of the maps, for example, depicts the reception quality of the 5G network. It shows that one major operator has an excellent 5G network in the south of Luxembourg, the capital, and the Nordstad, i.e., the most populous regions of Luxembourg. In comparison, the 5G networks of two other operators appear to be far weaker.
