
The National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (STATEC) has published new figures on housing.
According to STATEC’s latest report, housing prices (flats and houses combined) increased by 11.5% compared to the second quarter of 2021. The prices of existing houses even increased by 15.5%.

This increase constitutes a slight acceleration compared to the previous quarter but remains well below the rates observed in the two previous years.
Over the whole of 2021, house prices increased by 13.9% compared to the previous year. In 2020, the average annual increase was 14.5% and in 2019 it was 10.1%.
