A cyber attack was reported overnight from 22 to 23 July, targeting the Luxembourg energy supplier Creos.
The attack was confirmed by Creos' parent company, the Encevo Group, in a statement on Monday morning. The group's crisis unit was deployed as soon as they became aware of the cyber attack, with the situation now said to be under control. An investigation is underway to ensure the full resolution of the incident.
However, the attack has negatively impacted the Creos and Enovos customer portals system, although both companies are seeking to restore service as soon as possible.
The attacks have not affected the supply of electricity or gas, while breakdown service is still guaranteed, Enovos added in their statement.
