According to the prices published by the Housing Fund and the National Society for Affordable Housing (SNHBM), a subsidised home costs between €3,889 and €4,688 per square metre.

A subsidised flat costs between €4,100 and €4,750 per square metre. The VAT rate of 17% applies to all these prices.

The Housing Fund completed and put up for sale about 100 dwellings in 2021, compared to 300 completed and sold homes by the SNHBM. Between 2019 and 2021, the two public developers constructed about 950 subsidised housing units.

These figures were provided by Minister for Housing Henri Kox in response to a parliamentary question by MP Roy Reding from the Alternative Democratic Reform Party (adr).
