Eleven months ahead of the 2023 municipal elections, The Greens' Luxembourg City fraction have presented their team running for the highest office in the capital.
"Fresh wind for our city" is the slogan of the election campaign. MP François Benoy and municipal councillor Claudie Reyland will be the two front runners for the Greens in next year's municipal elections.
Benoy, a Belair resident and a long-term member of the Scouts in the City, will be the top candidate for Mayor. His ambitions for the capital include "more humane transportation" and "better solutions" than those proposed by the current DP and CSV coalition, which he says has failed to identify the urgency of climate-neutral transportation in town.

A statement from the Greens further notes: "We need fresh wind in the capital. We have a clear vision for the City and the necessary political courage."
The 2023 municipal elections will take place on 11 June.
