Luxembourg's meteorological services have issued a warning over an increase in ozone levels, which may already reach 160 µg/m3 on Thursday.

Temperatures are currently rising all over Europe. Some southern countries, such as Spain, are expecting up to 47°C over the weekend, which increases the risk for forest fires.

Luxembourg's meteorological services have also issued a warning over elevated ozone levels. On Thursday afternoon, the ozone levels are expected to bypass 160 µg/m3, while temperatures may range between 25 and 31°C. Elderly people and those with health issues are advised not to spend too much time outside and refrain from physical activities.

On Saturday, temperatures may reach a staggering 37°C in Luxembourg. Sunday may bring about a slight decrease in temperatures and even a few rain showers.
