Sunday marked the end of the annual Octave pilgrimage, which saw numerous visitors flock to the capital to get a glimpse of the traditional closing procession.

Thousands of people paid a visit to the Notre-Dame Cathedral during the two-week Octave period. The market was also a popular spot once again, although it had to be set up at Place de la Constitution this year.

As per tradition, members of the Grand Ducal family also participated in the closing procession on Sunday. Aside from the Grand Ducal couple, Prince Guillaume, wife Princess Stéphanie, and their son Prince Charles were also present in the capital.
