As part of 'Serve The City's' "Grouss Botz" more than a hundred volunteers are gathering to clean different places in Luxembourg this Saturday. Ten teams are already planned in numerous districts of the City and the South in Luxembourg.
Serve the City is a movement of volunteers that started in Brussels in 2005 and found its way to Luxembourg in 2012. Now active in more than 100 cities across the globe, the international movement acts mostly locally. It is based in Bonnevoie and operates in the 3 major cities here in Luxembourg.
Being the number one charity for the expat community, their social engagement has always been focused on concrete acts for environmental protection. Serve The City believes that environmental aspects are closely tied to social issues, and that now is the right time to take action and take care of the cities and their surroundings.
Therefore they are now organising their big spring clean-up, the so called "Grouss Botz" ("Big Clean-Up"), on May 14th, which will take place simultaneously in different places in Luxembourg. This project is part of the #LetzClean initiative launched in March this year.
Registrations to participate this Saturday are open and can be done via this link here.
