A traffic accident occurred on the CR335 between Maulusmühle and Clervaux at around 11.20am on Tuesday morning, during which a cyclist fell in circumstances that remain unclear, the police said in a statement.
However, what is known is that the cyclist fell after being overtaken by a tractor pulling two trailers. The cyclist had to be airlifted to the hospital due to the serious injuries sustained as a result of the accident.
As for the driver of the tractor, they were nowhere to be found when the rescue services arrived. They were finally located in Eselborn. An accident report was drawn up.
