RTL Today - Heavy rains forecast: Heavy snow falls on Kirchberg

Although Météolux announced heavy rainfall for today, Kirchberg was surprised with snow.

Yesterday, the Findel weather station announced heavy rainfall. This forecast was confirmed on Friday morning, but this afternoon has seen some changes.

Shortly before 2 pm, snow began to fall on the Kirchberg plateau. The snow is not likely to last given the temperatures this afternoon (3 to 5°C).

However, it could accumulate locally in the evening. So make sure you have your winter tyres if you plan to travel in the Grand Duchy - especially as precipitation is expected on Saturday in all parts of the country.

But do not fear, spring should finally arrive next week. The Findel station is forecasting temperatures of up to 18°C from next Tuesday.
