Luxembourg’s national weather service has issued a yellow alert for Thursday, valid from 8am to 11pm. Météolux forecasts strong “stormy” winds with gusts of up to 90 km/h.
Motorists are thus advised to be particularly careful on the roads on Thursday.
On a more positive note, temperatures are expected to rise. Météolux forecasts between 6 and 8°C in the morning and between 7 and 9°C in the afternoon.
In typical April weather fashion, the increase in temperatures is expected to be followed by rain on Friday, snow on Saturday, and up to 17°C on Monday.
