RTL Today - More sun than ever: March 2022 becomes record-breaking month, reveals Meteolux

According to the meteorological station at Findel airport, the last month was the sunniest March in the history of Luxembourg.

In March 2022, more sunshine was registered than during any previous March since the beginning of records in 1947. The meteorological station at Findel airport measured 218.8 hours of sunshine over the course of the month.

Unfortunately, it seems as though April will not go down in history as temperatures have considerably dropped since the arrival of a cold front from the Atlantic.

Meteolux does not expect things to change significantly over the coming days. Even though temperatures will go up again, the remainder of the week will also see a lot of clouds and rainfall.
