
The petitions, which can be signed on the official website of the Chamber of Deputies, have until 5 May to collect the 4,500 signatures required for a parliamentary debate on the subject.
One petition proposes the suspension of the CO2 tax for the duration of the conflict in Ukraine. Another petitioner argues that the kilometre allowance should be increased while a third citizen thinks that speed cameras should be used in areas where speed is limited to 30 km/h.
