Changes to the 2G+ system are to be expected for those who got vaccinated or recovered less than six months ago.

If the amendment goes through, concerned people will no longer have to take a rapid test to enter any location.

However, those whose recovery or vaccination is older than six months will have to get the booster shot or take a rapid test to pass the CovidCheck system.

Furthermore, the isolation period for vaccinated people will be decreased from ten to six days in case of a positive infection.

On Monday, the State Council published its formal assessment of the amendment, which is expected to be passed with a majority of votes on Tuesday afternoon, and come into effect only a day later on Wednesday.
