The Luxembourg government has launched a country-wide testing week.
To that end, every household received an invitation to pick up five free rapid tests from a pharmacy.
Everyone in Luxembourg should then carry out two tests over the course of the week so that positive cases can be detected as quickly as possible, and ultimately help break the current infection wave.
The campaign organisers recommend that as many people as possible get tested, regardless of their vaccination status. People are advised to do one test today and the second one on Friday.
In its respective press release, the Ministry of Health underlines that the campaign does not affect the education system, as teachers and pupils should continue the three tests per week protocol.
