While Meteolux expects between five and seven centimetres of snow in northern Luxembourg, private weather service Kachelmannwetter warns that there is a risk of black ice on Friday morning.
The national weather service Meteolux has issued a yellow alert for the entire country, valid from 6am to 2pm on Friday. Generally, two to four centimetres of snowfall are expected. The Oesling region could even see up to seven centimetres of snow, according to Meteolux.

Meanwhile, private weather service Kachelmannwetter forecasts a chance of heavy snowfall and black ice, even in the Grand Duchy's less elevated regions.
However, at around noon, the snow is expected to gradually transition into rain, except in northern Luxembourg, which may see prolonged snowfall throughout the day.
