A pedestrian was knocked down by a car travelling from the direction of Luxembourg City in Gonderange on Tuesday morning. The victim was treated at the scene before being transported to hospital.

Although traffic was briefly disrupted at the time of the incident, the road was cleared again by nine o’clock. The public prosecutor’s office dispatched a team to the scene to lead the investigation.
Elsewhere, in Luxembourg City, a cyclist was also hit by a bus around six o’clock on Monday evening. The accident took place in Avenue de la Porte Neuve and local emergency services were called to the scene.
