The case surrounding the non-profit association "CSV Frëndeskrees" has led to further judicial consequences.

According to the online news website "Reporter.lu", the headquarters of the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) have been searched a second time in the context of the "CSV Frëndeskrees" affair. The public prosecutor's office ordered the search last week and the judicial police searched the CSV premises on Friday afternoon. A spokesperson for the judiciary confirmed the information to Reporter.lu.

The affair surrounding the association "CSV Frëndeskrees" had led to the resignation of Frank Engel as president of the CSV.

The case is linked to an employment contract that Engel allegedly had with the association. The non-profit is said to have paid Engel a salary from May to December 2020. In return, the latter is said to have undertaken to seek members for the association. It is alleged that there has been an abuse of corporate assets.
