The "Wanteraktioun" homeless support services and shelter have been extended to the end of June as a result of the health crisis.

Since the initiative relaunched in November 2020, around 1,200 people have made use of the available support.

To date, 17 people have tested positive at the shelter.

Minister Corinne Cahen said clients’ mental health had suffered as a result of the pandemic, as their daily life had been turned upside down, in her response to a parliamentary question by CSV MP Paul Galles.

Wanteraktioun organises a weekly free medical consultation, in conjunction with the Red Cross, which also offers free HIV and syphilis tests.
