One further death from Covid-19 was reported today, meaning the total death toll in the Grand Duchy has reached 791.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Health is no longer publishing Covid-19 data on Sundays.
6,049 tests were carried out on Saturday, with 109 coming back positive. The positivity rate was 1.80%.
A further 409 tests were carried out on Sunday, identifying 56 cases. The positivity rate was 13.69%.
There are 57 patients in standard hospital care, down 22 from the last update, while the number in intensive care rose by one to 37.
As of yesterday, there were 2,619 active infections in Luxembourg, while 62,964 patients have recovered from the virus.
130,591 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg. 48,210 of those have received a second dose.
The R rate stands at 0.92.
