Due to the Corona crisis, a Télévie-week has been organised for the first time so that the programme can be spread over a few days. Throughout the year, individuals, volunteers, associations and companies have been involved in Télévie. Donations were collected and the fight against cancer was strongly supported.
From Monday 19 April to Friday 23 April, RTL will be broadcasting live every day from one of the five ‘Centres de Promesses’. Starting on Monday with the centre in Rodange, on Tuesday in Troisvierges, on Wednesday in Suessem, on Thursday in Echternach, and on Friday in Strassen.
Each day begins early in the morning at 6.40 am on the radio and on the internet. At 7 pm, the RTL team will report from the respective centre. In addition, a series of reports and witnesses are shown throughout the week.
Telephone lines for donations are open from 6.30 am to 9 pm all week long.
Saturday 24 April is the grand finale of the donation marathon. In the morning, the counter will be started on the radio, where people can continue to donate. Phone lines will be open from 7 am. In the evening, every donation collected during the year will be counted and announced.
Like every year, the amount is donated to cancer research in Luxembourg.
