The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 179 new cases of coronavirus were discovered yesterday.

Five further deaths from Covid-19 were reported today, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 777.

10,412 tests were carried out yesterday. The positivity rate was 1.72%.

There are 103 patients in standard hospital care, up by 4 from the last update, while the number in intensive care increased by five to 33, including a patient from the Grand Est region of France.

99,988 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg. 35,103 of those have received a second dose.

The R rate stands at 0.95.
