The incident occurred along Route d'Arlon in Bertrange at around 4 pm on 26 January.

Two men approached the victim pretending to want to talk to her before ripping her necklace off. The two individuals then fled on foot.

The first suspect was a white male, approximately 1.70 m tall, slim build, with medium-length, dark hair. He also had a moustache and a goatee. He was dressed in a black hooded jacket, the inside of the hood was red. He wore sweatpants branded with the logo of the "New York Yankees" with red stripes on both sides as well as multicoloured Adidas sports shoes.

The second individual was also about 1.70 m tall, but very stout. He wore a black hooded jacket, black sweatpants, grey sports shoes with white laces and a black cap.

Both men were between 18 and 25 years old and spoke in broken English.
