Giorgetti will thus replace former president Jean-Marc Kieffer at the head of the Groupement des Entrepreneurs du Bâtiment et des Travaux Publics (association for business owners in the construction and public works sector).

Kiefer announced in December that he planned on stepping down in order to carry out his duties as chairman of the CDCL construction group. Marc Giorgetti is now the new head of the association, following a unanimous vote in his favour.
