Authorities have confirmed their intention to be intransigent with those who defy the curfew or who disregard the restrictions on gatherings. The Grand Ducal police also took the opportunity to remind customers of the new restrictions which are now in place in shopping centres. Since last week, it is forbidden to eat or drink in public places.
In this context, the police announced an increased presence of agents near shopping centres and pedestrian areas in the country. Alcohol consumption in public spaces is prohibited until 15 January.
