'Shall we continue like this, Luxembourg?'Harsh criticism by CHL's Dr Romain Nati

RTL Today
On late Friday evening, the Director General of the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL) addressed the current coronavirus situation in Luxembourg in a post on his Facebook page.

Dr Romain Nati did not mince his words, explaining that with a mortality rate of around 1%, five of the 506 people who had tested positive the day before would not survive the next few weeks. Five families who would be in mourning at the start of 2021, Dr Nati stressed.

The director of the CHL also pointed out that it was well-known that most of the deaths were people who died not with but because of the coronavirus.

According to Dr Nati, this has been “our reality” for several weeks now. He ended his post by asking “Shall we continue like this, Luxembourg?”.
