Second lockdown a 'death blow'LCGB demands Tripartite before end of the year

RTL Today
A second lockdown could be a 'death blow' to employees in sectors already on the verge of collapsing, the LGCB writes.

Cohesion and social protection, despite all efforts to get a grip on the virus, must not be neglected. The Christian Trade Union Confederation calls on the government to convene a Tripartite later this year. Here, the government, employers and trade unions should jointly take the necessary measures to avoid a wave of bankruptcies and to make partial unemployment more widely available.

The LCGB also raises the issue of a sectoral tripartite for Horeca. The example of Luxair would have shown that results from such a meeting could be quite positive and could also have an impact on other parts of the economy.
