As of 8 November, Luxair flights to Berlin-Tegel airport have ceased, with the brand new Brandenburg airport added as a replacement destination. Flights are now available for booking on Luxair’s website.
The new airport opened on 31 October, running a full roster of operations on 1 November. Nearly 30 years in the making, construction began back in 2006 and persisted in spite of a number of setbacks, including building issues, allegations of corruption, not to mention a global pandemic.
Luxair will run flights to Berlin six days a week, except Saturdays (according to the current schedule). At present, Covid-19 travel restrictions may apply.
