Luxembourg has passed Belgium as the country with the second-highest coronavirus incidence rate in Europe.

Belgium, which had the most relative cases last week, reported 1,333 cases per 100,000 inhabitants this week and has been replaced at the top of the list by the Czech Republic (1,551 cases).

That leaves the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (1,459) in second.

At the other end of the scale, Finland has an incidence rate of 53 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

It is important to note that these figures should merely be seen as rough guide values. Any comparison between countries is difficult because of differing testing strategies.
