It is not necessary to leave the car to be tested. All you need is a GP prescription and an appointment, which can be made online.

Around eight people per hour can be tested via nasal swab. This means the new site can test around 96 people per day.

There is a high need for these test centres at the moment which is unlikely to abate, seeing as winter is around the corner. The Dudelange test centre is expected to remain operational for six months.

Around 2,400 tests were performed in a week at the old National Library site in Kirchberg.

Appointments for a Covid test can be made via the site lns.lu.

The test centre in Dudelange is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
