The retirement and care home in Ettelbruck will no longer allow visitors from Monday 19 October to 9 November after a positive case of coronavirus was detected.

One of the residents tested positive for the virus, but the track and trace teams could not identify the contacts which might have infected the person in question.

As a result, all of the resident's contacts have now been placed in quarantine, awaiting testing. Visits to the retirement home have been banned for several weeks as an additional precaution.

Residents and staff at the care home will potentially all undergo testing. If the situation improves, visitors may be allowed once more after 9 November,
