The goal is to support Luxembourg companies in their “internationalisation”.

Due to the health crisis, there are almost no physical networking opportunities between companies from different countries as practically everything takes place online at the moment.
The Luxembourg Trade and Investment Board, which was founded in 2017, has been looking successfully for alternatives. According to Fayot, an online guide will offer helpful tips on the topic of digital marketing to companies in the export business. This involves, among other things, the use of new digital instruments to connect businesses with each other. According to Frieden, this meant real contacts, and not just “boring webinars”.
However, is there any potential for Luxembourgish exports? Yes, according to Fayot, the Grand Duchy is competitive and, in some industries, even ahead of its competition.
The Chamber of Commerce represents 90,000 companies, and there are a plethora of opportunities for numerous companies, Frieden stressed, citing water, wine, and even pasta. Fayot jokingly added “butter, milk, but no yoghurt”.
Fayot and Frieden also stated that after the economic mission in Morocco over one year ago, the exports of digital services in particular experienced great success.
