A former policeman was found guilty of using poison to murder his 30 year old sister and his 31 year old brother-in-law at their home in Bereldange, using a cyanide-laced cocktail. He was given a life-long prison sentence.
The defendant denied premeditated murder, despite purchasing poison and other narcotics on the darknet.
The representative of the prosecution had requested a lifelong prison sentence for the murders.
