The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 35 new cases of coronavirus were found yesterday. This brings the total number of cases to 6,321, while deaths remain at 112.

Note: overall, the number of confirmed cases has risen by 49, and the number of tests by 1,426. This means that today's report also contains tests carried out either earlier today, or prior to Sunday.

400,903 tests have been carried out in Luxembourg since the start of the outbreak, with 1,426 tests reported on since yesterday's update.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Health only communicates the number of new infections, tests, and virus deaths on weekends. As such, the numbers below are as compared to Friday, not yesterday.

Luxembourg currently has 1,382 (+317) active infections. Six people are currently in intensive care (-1), and 55 (+9) are in standard care. 1,015 (+25) patients have left the hospital since the start of the pandemic.

The effective reproduction rate (Rt_eff) remains at 1.01, while (Rt) reproduction rate is now at 1.24 (1.27 on Friday).
