According to RTL sources, Henri Kox of déi Gréng will take over the tasks of internal security and the police.
Up until now, Kox was only assistant deputy of internal security. Bausch confirmed that he will continue to oversee the defence council in charge of the country’s military. The changes aim at better distributing individual competences. The decision was accepted by the state’s council on Thursday morning.
