Friday's update from the government shows another 152 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Luxembourg, bringing the total to 1,605. We also saw another 6 deaths, for a total of 15.

Luxembourg saw 120 new cases on Thursday, 234 new cases confirmed on Wednesday, 224 on Tuesday, and 77 on Monday. With today's new confirmed infections included, this week has seen a total of 802 cases since Monday this week - compared to a total of 798 from the start of the outbreak on 29 February up until this past Sunday.
In the live press conference, for which we provide ticker translations, Minister of Health Paulette Lenert said that the average age of people who died is 80, while the youngest person to have died was 56. In total 40 people have recovered, and 25 people are in intensive care while we have 113 intensive care units in total.

In terms of recovery, the national definition is 14 days following infection and 48 hours without symptoms.
