Amidst these circumstances, the Robert Schuman Hospital group appealed to businesses to provide staff, masks, and protective clothing if possible.
According to a logistics representative who spoke to RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg, they have been looking for masks for weeks. The first delivery for these protective masks, that would usually have been used for workers on construction sites, arrived on Thursday. By Friday morning, 100 businesses offered up their help.
As an example, construction company Brevaco (Niederkorn) donated 45,000 masks to the hospital group. Fortunately, this surge in help and cooperation can be witnessed across the board.
