Patients displaying symptoms should follow guidelines and contact a doctor over the phone. If they are in need of medicine, they should not visit the chemist themselves, but send someone without symptoms instead.
The syndicate has also asked that emergency pharmacists only be used for real emergencies confirmed by a doctor.
Currently there are no issues with medication shortages.
