Weather warnings are coming in thick and fast this winter, and we've got another one for today.

Meteolux have issued an orange alert as the afternoon will see gusts of up to 100km/h. We’ll also be blessed with a bit of rain in the morning, a fair bit more in the afternoon, and a little bit in the evening.

The orange alert is active from 3pm to 6pm, and a yellow alert between 12pm and 3pm, and again from 6pm until 8pm.

Morning temperatures 5-8 °C, 8-12 °C in the day, and 2-5 °C in the evening.

Traffic checks

Four checks have been announced for this Saturday - though with public transport becoming free to use today you may not need worry:

One in the morning:

  • Rue de Sanem in Ehlerange.

And three in the evening:

  • Route de Thionville in Alzingen;
  • Route de Colmar/N22 in Bissen;
  • N7/Route d’Ettelbruck in Diekirch.
