The Ministry of Mobility held a press conference on Thursday to go into more detail about the impending free public transport.

The conference, held at the Tramschapp, gave Minister for Mobility and Public Works François Bausch the opportunity to announce that those keen to travel without charge do not need to wait until Sunday 1 March. Instead, the change will be effective from Saturday 29 February.

Luxembourg will be the first country to offer free public transport.
