Luxembourg ArmyChief of Defence Alain Duschène to step down on 29 September

On Monday, the Mémorial confirmed that Luxembourg army General Alain Duschène will retire in September.

Duschène, aged 59, joined the army voluntarily at the age of 18. In March 2008 he was promoted to deputy Chief of Staff and Colonel, before succeeding Romain Mancinelli as Chief of Defence and General in September 2017.
