Restoration and painting work had been halted after the company responsible went bankrupt.
The work will resume on Monday 13 January. Roland Fox, director of the roads and bridges administration, explained a new contractor had to be secured after the previous business went bankrupt last year.
Further delays were caused as the replacement contractor had to obtain authorisation and guarantee the same quality.
The budget for the painting work had to remain the same despite the bankruptcy. The total cost of the work is estimated to reach 3 million euros and it should conclude in spring 2020.
