Minister of Sport Dan Kersch was able to gain an idea of the construction site’s progress, accompanied by Luxembourg City mayor Lydie Polfer.
The cost of the new stadium is currently estimated to reach 77 million euros, a figure which should not increase according to Polfer.
The multifunctional space located next to the stadium, expected to host concerts and other events, will also be more expensive than anticipated. The budget has increased from €800,000 to almost 2.7 million euros.
