A total of 525 drivers were stopped and made to take breathalyser tests. The police found 25 drivers over the legal limit and withdrew six licenses on the spot.
A separate police patrol noticed a lorry driving in a zigzag on the A6 motorway. Officers stopped the vehicle and found the driver under the influence. The lorry was seized and the driver was fined.
