Thursday's Europa League encounter between F91 Dudelange and Qarabag led to dramatic scenes on and off the pitch. Not only did a drone interrupt the match, but vandals also set about cars in the car park opposite the stadium.

Police reported on Friday morning that unknown individuals had taken the opportunity to break into a number of cars parked in the multi-storey car park on Rue d'Ostende during the Europa League game on Thursday night. The vandals smashed windows and broke into seven cars between 7.45pm and 11pm while the match played out across the street.

Among the items stolen were a black rucksack containing a Macbook Pro, headphones and a Montblanc pen, a leather case with a tablet, an envelope of cash, a women's coat and an iPhone cable.

Police are currently investigating.

A Twitter user affected by the thieves wrote about the incident on the platform. He also claimed that cars had been stolen, although the police did not confirm this.
