
The advantages and disadvantages of changing the clocks were hotly debated in recent years. On 26 March, the European Parliament has voted to put a stop on daylight saving time, coming into effect in 2021.
In other words, the clocks are changing tonight for one of the last times ever.
Even though MPs voted to abolish the clock changes, it’s still up to the countries to find a compromise and decide whether they remain permanently on summer or winter time.
The “normal” time in Luxembourg is winter time, which will be valid until 2am on Sunday. In other words, at 2am, it will magically be 3am.
